my store vons allow one first coupon at double then same coupons can scan without double.

why on earth was she buying so much just to hoard it. There were only 2 people in that house and how in God's name can 2 people use or eat that much food that she has hoarded away. I can see shopping and stock piling on some things, but by the time she gets to drink those bottles, they won't be any good as bacteria will eventually set in them. And ketchup, my lord there's a date on these products and "she" will never use them as she had hundreds. Ketchup was just an example, now look at the other things. Even her husband was getting ticked off at her. She has a compulusion and obsession problem. And in my opinion she should get some counseling.
You only stock pile what you need and use and can use them up before they expire or to get thrown away. There is only 2 of us in my house and I could never in a hundred years use that much of what she has.
The others seemed to buy pretty much of what they needed and used , and had it sorted out by date. There won't be any throwing anything away in their houses. Plus the guy donated his stuff so what he does is beneficial to him and others as well.

I do couponing too, but not to that extreme. There's only 2 of us and I only get the things I want and use, I certainly don't need 300 hundred bottles of drinks etc. And when you have to use several rooms in your house and throw everything on a couch, when you can put them in basement and garage if you have one. Or use just 1 room if you don't have a basement. Not to her extreme. She is compulsive and it's an obsession with her. If I were her husband I would definetly take to see someone as she needs help. How much do you want to bet that half of what she's hoarding, ends up in the garbage. There's nothing wrong in couponing even for items such as toilet paper, paper towels etc. But do I want to use toothpaste after it's been sitting there for years. No way.
She needs to have someone come in and clean house and organize things and to get rid of half of the stock pile she has.
And use less coupons, just buy what you use. You don't buy things just because you have a coupon for it or that's it's on sale.
And none of our store double, only on occasions. And try to get $1.00 coupons and if they do double it's only up to
$.99
And do these people have jobs. The guy says he owes noone anything. House paid off, bills paid off. Where does the money come from?

Used a trapper keeper that zips with baseball card holders for the coupons and dividers to label the sections. Also had room for a calculator and scissor etc. But I found it was just too big and clunky to carry around all the time, so I missed a bunch of deals because I didn't carry it into the store with me. I'm back to 2 large coupon wallets that fit in my purse. One for all the coupons I might use one day and one with sections for all the different stores and I put the coupons for that week in it. Works much better for me. Although I'm seriously considering a bigger purse.... with longer straps... mine is to short and doesn't easily throw over the shoulder, which just makes it hard to carry with the heavy coupons in it! LOL. I'm thankful for shopping carts to push my purse around! LOL
