We are all sick here with colds/sore throats/congestion. The last week has been a nightmare. It's been a week since my son's brain surgery. He seems to be doing okay, he's had problems on and off with pain though. Plus he's now complaining of headaches, so hopefully when he goes back to the dr tommorrow, they can figure out what's going on. Last Friday night (Christmas Eve) we had to take our granddaughter Alayna to the ER, she had a high fever, they said she had two ear infections plus a red throat. Poor baby, she's still congested but sounds somewhat better. Then last Saturday night (Christmas) we had to take our son Timmy to the ER, he was itching so bad on his incisions and in pain, even blisters were forming, well come to find out they used paper tape on him, he's highly allergic to paper tape, so the dr that did the surgery said go to the ER asap to get it removed. Then Sunday morning Will hollered for me, he was spitting blood and said it felt like the roof of his mouth caved in, so I looked inside and that thing that hangs down at the back of your throat (the uvula) was swollen so huge, it looked like he had another tongue in his mouth. So I had to rush him to the ER, they gave him a steriod shot and pain meds. The swelling has gone down, but he's still not feeling good and congested as well. Plus Cheyenne and I are both sick too, I'm praying we are all well soon, was hoping it would warm up, the sun is out a little bit but it's only in the 30's and cold outside, I wanted to open the windows and get some fresh air in here..Just wanted to give you all an update and hopefully we will be staying away from the ER for awhile, I'm exhausted from it all, plus we take care of our granddaughter while her mom works, cause Timmy isn't allowed to lift anything, so now we watch her extra cause he can't do anything right now. So please keep us in your prayers. I think about all of you and I do read the boards everyday, just don't get a chance to post much. I will be posting things on the bargain board too, I need to raise funds for the medical bills and meds etc...Hugs, Rebekka
