here's a funny about the differences between men & women.
rodney and i and a couple friend of ours (johnn & barb) are going to branson to see the silver dollar city special lights this week-end. i got a text message from johnn yesterday to not let them forget to get some pork skins. he said a friend of his wanted them ... for his wife ... for her CHRISTMAS PRESENT!!!! i told him he just could NOT let his friend get his wife pork skins for christmas (i've heard of bad gifts but i thought this was about the worst gift EVER!).
here's where the difference in men and women come in ... he said that he thought it was about the most thoughtful gift he'd ever heard of ... WHAT??? his thought was this guy went so far out of his way to have a friend pick up something special all the way from silver dollar city and bring it all the way back for him to give to her AND she LOVES the pork skins there (i guess they have some kind of special pork rinds or something). i just had to crack up ... he was right, it is pretty thoughtful, but just in case my sweetie is reading this i would like something OTHER than pork skins for christmas.
