23 0|0|What are you reading right now? I am on the second book in the Hunger Games series....I really like them, even though they are young adult writing...I can hardly put them down! :) After I'm finished with these, I'll read Stephen King's newest book....it was on my Cmas list, and DH knows how much I love Uncle Stevie :)|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|20:42:27|12/14/2010|

1|1|Joy, we must have close to the same reading taste. I just checked "Catching Fire" out of the library last night and am going to start reading it tonight. I haven't read Stephen King in a long time. Maybe I will try him next.|Ranalt|ainebailey@gmail.com|20:50:33|12/14/2010|

Seems to be a lull in the books I want to read. I read all of the Twilight books. Then all of the Charlaine Harris Sookie books and I am looking for a good read.
I tend to need a series of books as I am a very fast reader. I can read a few hundred pages in about two hours. 3|2|I've read all of those too! I have the Sookie books, finished those this summer.....how I wish she'd write another one very soon! Twilight was ok, I finished them because that is how I am, can't start a book and not finish it, nor a series. If you like series, and are willing to invest some time in one, I HIGHLY recommend the Gunslinger series by SK! I read them all back to back, took me one year.....I cried just a little when I was done, felt like I was saying goodbye to some good friends. I think I'll try the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series after the new SK.....|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|21:07:11|12/14/2010|

2|1|I'm currently reading Crime Scene by Larry Ragle......|maraj|maraj64@hotmail.com|21:06:19|12/14/2010|

It's a True Crime type. Says, "From fingerprints to DNA testing---An astonishing inside look at the real world of CSI". It's interesting but is not one of those "can't-put-down" or "on-the-edge-of-your-seat" types.
Altho I normally love True Crime/Non-fiction/Stephen King, I've been reading some Patricia Cornwell, & have another PC lined up - The Scarpetta Factor - when I'm done w/Crime Scene.
I'd gotten way behind on my reading a few yrs. ago but kept buying more & more books so have my own little "library" chock full waiting for me. LOL I've finally been catching up in the last couple yrs. but still have tons stocked up cuz I keep buying more books! ROFL!
Mr. King is waiting patiently for me to catch up on his too. LOL

I know her family tried to continue her books after she passed away but I don't recall how successful they were, & I don't think I've gotten ahold of any of the "newer" ones that weren't written by VC herself.

Ok.. VC Andrews is the NUMBER ONE author on my list of books I collect or look for.. Nora Roberts is NUMBER TWO.. I will wait to read them until i've collect all the books in a series.. ITS weird that you should mention her last books as just last week I found one for .33 at the thrift shop that I didn't have it's probably her last one. There are two in the book.."Broken Wings" and "Midnight Flight". I've just started reading Broken Wings this morning. But anyway, in the cover it says, "Following the death of Virginia Andrews, the Andrews family worked with a carefully selected writer to organize and complete Virginia Andrews stories and to create additional novels, of which this is one, inspired by her storytelling genius." The copyright date is 2003. So my question would be, which books AFTER this one are completely writen by this so-called "selected writer"? I wonder if i'd be able to tell? I'll have to do some research.
