My parents always said it should take only 1 uncomfortable experience to change a person's perspective about something. Be it water, electricity or snow, as long as you respect it, you'll be fine.
A 104 car pile-up would change my persective about driving in snow too. Oooof!

8|5|It was both my DD's. They were going back to college in Rochester, NY. It took them two days to get back and they both wrote a paper on it for a class. My youngest DD was driving. They escaped getting hit by her driving the car into the median.|Ranalt|ainebailey@gmail.com|12:41:49|12/11/2010|
My oldest DD who now lives in Canada says "that was the best driving ever." My youngest DD then replies, 'well I am glad someone saw it, I had my eyes closed ."
They had enough sense to stay in the car while it was in the median. They got a little bumped, but they were safe.
They were smack in middle of the 104 car/semi truck pile up. Freeway was closed for quite a while. They had to stay overnight and wait for the freeway to reopen.
Definitely had their road angels working overtime that day.
