this has to do with my 8 year old son Kevin
and his old dentist
Kevin has had issues with his teeth
he now has had 4 molars pulled due to having fillings put in them
and some medicine put in before the fillings were put in
the NEW dentist is not happy with the way his teeth were handled
he told me the medicine was causing his roots to disintergrate
cuz each molar he had pulled had a missing root
and the one he had pulled yesterday had a root starting to disappear
now my questions are this
should i go back to his old dentist and take the pics and show her what has happened
as she hadn't bothered to take one of those front facial exrays to see what was up with his teeth
he asks why does he have to lose his teeth early and the NEW dentist tried to explain to him but it made him soo upset
that is 4 gone and now 2 with spacers that will stay there till he is 11 or 12
and 2 more spacers that will be put in
and i wonder how many more kids/people this has happened to
i am at a loss of what to do to handle this

to see what she has to say about this. I would ask nicely and go from there. maybe she felt this was necessary. I know when I switched I had issues with a dentist I went to previously, didnt need 1/2 the stuff done he did. yuo cant go back and redo anythign so I would just make sure to double check anything else he does. it's OK to say no if you dont feel Kevin needs something done. wish I would have said no when I had thing sdone that I felt were not necessary. got with your instinct 2|2|i knwum i had root canals done and wish i hadn't cuz i lost a partial tooth from that |lydzkydz|wyldkydz@embarqmail.com|22:44:03|12/09/2010|
that is one time i wish i had of listened to my dad but that is the only time LOL
cuz he lost 2 teeth from root canals
