and her 17 yr old daughter passed away...back in sept that i told u about??
well there is some brighter news.........Niki is improving......its been a long hard road......she has just recently accepted the
fact that her only child is gone....... : (
the brighter note is ....she is eating somewhat solid food now.....if she continues to do well.....the feeding tube comes out next wk!!!
sadder note.......she is still bedfast.....has very limited use of her left side at all......can only move her leg about 2 inches..same with left arm...
her right side is some better.....but not fully functional.......they lost her glasses somehow in the move from Nashville,tn to Michigan......her prescription
is over a yr old...so they wont make her new ones...so she has limited vision also.........
she has developed a few severe bed sores...some have cleared pretty well....some havent.......
i honestly dont think she would have even came this far......had it not been for an old friend of her and her late husband...stepping in and visiting
daily(hour drive each way) and pushing her to do what she needs to do to get out of there....when her own family walks in...says a few words and is back out the door......
anyway..if there is anyone who would be willing to send her a card...i would so much appreciate it...im hoping it will brighten her day a bit

she is wayyyyyyyyyy to young to be laying in a nursing home..unable to care for herself.....
seems life just isnt far........her daughter that passed away was her only child.......and her husband passed away when her daughter was 3 or 4
