Hi all....just thought I'd update.
As some of you may remember, my dh needed to have his left kidney removed due to a large mass found in it.
He went in the Operation Room at 7:30 AM and was out at 9:30 and settled into his private room at 12. It's now 4 pm and he is up and watching tv and eating some sherbert.....he is in a lot of pain.....but doing very well......
Just wanted to update you all....
The kidney is out and his doctors said his surrounding lymph nodes look good.....the tumor is being sent to pathology and we should know more later this week or early next.

It's dinner time here at the hospital and they just gave him another round of morphine......he's resting again.....I'm planning on leaving here around 6:30 to go pick up Olivia (Devon's staying with his dad).....then bring her home so I can get her on the bus in the am...then come back to the hospital tomorrow morning......
