around 10:30 my son and i hear this terrible bang outside and just thought someone hit a deer on the road in front of my house . so i turn on my big light on the front of the house and look out the window, there are car pieces everywhere. all of a sudden we hear screaming for help. we run out and my dad runs out from his basmaent apartment and says omg call 911. 3 girls from my sons class where traveling at a high rate of speed, way to high for the rainy wet roads. one girl was thrown out the back window and slammed into my dads camper, another girl was walking around dazed and one more was trapped inside VERY injured. i was so scared, but my father and I stayed by there side till all the crews got there. i hated my son to see things like that, i made him styay back, the poor girl in the poor was horrible hurt. i held her hand for awhile and when she in a low gutterel voice was asking for her mom i nearly lost it...:(:( so sad, its so hard not to be able to help someone when you know you can hurt them worse. Kalyn, the girl thrown from the car and hit my dads camper so hard left a body print on the side, she was very coherant but in shock. she had a compound fracture of the femur and other things but not life threatening i would say say. Aubrey walked away from the crash with a bump on the head and was in shock. Spencer, she was the one trapped behind the wheel, was more severe with internal injuries, a compound femur break and on and on. She was life flighted :( Aubrey said they were going around 45. Cops said, um no, try about 80. they hit the big maple tree in my front yard so hard the engine was clear across the street. i will never be able to get those poor girls screaming out of my head, i wasnt the mom they were asking for but i was a mom who cared and tried to help them.
please say a prayer for all these girls and there families, especially Spencer that poor girl needs it desperately. hug your kids tight today, i know i did.

everytime I see these stories on the news it breaks my heart because they (teens)never think anything can happen to them. they think they can handle driving fast! I cant imagine going through it like you had too. Just reading this story brough me to tears just thinking about those kids!

I'm sure those girls & their families will be forever grateful to you for being there & staying w/the girls til emergency help arrived.
I hope & pray they all recover from their physical injuries & the emotional trauma they've been thru. And I hope & pray your family heals from the emotional trauma as well.
Last spring a teenaged group of 2 girls & 2 boys lost control & wrapped the car around a tree by my niece's house out in the country. It sounds like a terrible cliche cuz it was Prom night & sadly, both young men were killed. :( Speed was the contributing factor. My niece was just in a bad accident herself right before Thanksgiving last year so the loss & devastation of these young kids & their families really shook her up since it happened right outside her house, & again reminded her of her own mortality.
I just don't understand why some of these kids, inexperienced as they are behind the wheel, feel the need to tear a$$ down the road, obviously putting their own lives as well as so many others' in danger. Fact of life: After Monday and Tuesday..even the CALENDAR says... Please identify yourself in 1st email w/name/username.
