any ideas 1|1|Does he have a set of wood blocks yet?|sunriver|sunriver@gmail.com|11:54:36|11/29/2010|
The G monster does and it is something she plays with a lot. Plus that is one of those toys that seem to last forever so his kids could someday be playing with them too and remembering you.
If he already has blocks, how about one of those remote control cars or planes? I think they make some toddler friendly ones.
Other than that my mind is pretty blank too. :0) 2|1|A train table with trains! :) Thomas the Trains are awesome|jilda|vze4gj4m@verizon.net|12:10:09|11/29/2010|

My son's Godfather gave my son 1-2 John Deere farm type things for Christmas each year when my son was little. There are tractors, trailers, wagons, bobcat, haybaler w/little plastic hay bales (maybe put the little haybales away for a year or so if there's a risk he'll put them in his mouth), combine, etc. And my parents would buy him 1-2 Tonka things for Christmas each year so there's a dump truck, caterpillar, end loader, grader, etc.
My son played w/them endlessly & we still have all of it. Keepsakes for my son to pass on to a son of his own one day. ;) But I have to admit that I was just as happy as he was sitting on the floor or out in the dirt playing w/them. LOL
Fact of life: After Monday and Tuesday..even the CALENDAR says...
W..T..F..

It was his favorite thing in the whole wide world! It went like 4 miles an hour and he scared us to death riding in and out by the fence, but he rode it like a pro! To this day I can't get him to get rid of it! It's still in my garage and he's 8 years old. He will pull it out, sit on the top of the seat and ride that thing around the lawn!
This is what his grandparents bought him, he's kinda pricey:

So maybe some type of motorized car he can ride around in? I know they make trucks, cars, tractors, etc.
But even something like this is nice and it's $99 instead of $249.00:

This is totally cool for $199.00 and looks like it can be used indoors if you have cold weather and alot of room indoors.

Totally cool motorcycle! My son would have loved this too! $79.99

Ok... I'm having too much fun now! This is a motorized race car for $59.99. Just in case you have a smaller budget.
