The 10 year old would probably like the Dangerous Book for Boys if he likes to read and does not already own it. 5|1|my sister in law always gets the kids |jdlaurie|savethosepennies@aol.com|07:09:01|11/29/2010|

a savings bond and a small toy or gift card. Because I find everything the kids could ever want at thrift stores and garage sales.... and my kids don't want the newest toy out there yet. My son NEVER gets rid of a toy! He can't part with anything! So we have so much stuff! And with boys, it's always the same toys every so many years.... Lego's, Star wars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Matchbox, GI Joe.... and my son has alot of the original ones that are so much better quality.

My daughter really doesn't do toys either at 6. She prefers office supplies and craft type stuff.

So the savings bonds are a great choice for them.
