It's that time to look for those big birds to be marked down! (Check the meat case for the "fresh" ones, those are usually the ones they mark down! Or at least here they do!)
Got one today...tag said $.29 a pound = $5.98 (20.5 pounds) Then I had a $1 Turkey Wine tag. So I expected to pay $4.98 plus tax which I was happy with...but to my suprize the store took off another $1.80 for using my store card. So I walked out with my turkey for $3.18 plus tax! (that made it $.16 a pound) and I have a $5 MIR so in the end I was paid to take home this poor 20.5 lb bird!
