i have 3 living siblings none invited me to dinner or even called me today :( I called them and they were leaving to go to each others house it sucks to be left out im not a bad person i dont understand why they dont love me my dh said not to let it bother me but i cant help it im really bothered . anyone else have a family like mine?

I was SO happy this morning when we could not make the 3 hour trip to eat dinner with my family - at my sister's house - we had ICE and decided not to make the 3 hour trip there and 3 hour trip back in this horrible weather! Just pulled out some frozen ham and made a nice meal. Hope they aren't TOO mad!

I have 2 living sisters, one who lives right next door to my mom btw, & several adult nieces. Nary a 1 even *thought* to ask my mom in the previous weeks/days if she wanted to join any of them for Thanksgiving. And by NO means is my mom a mean or witchy person in any way. She's alot like Edith Bunker - innocent, naive, golden-hearted. I don't think she has a selfish or nasty bone in her body.
I was actually tickled to death that I could do the "family" cooking today so my mom could actually sit back & enjoy it for a change. :)

last yr..i had one brother who didnt show up at all.....forgot what time we were supposed to be there..yeaaaaaa right......
this yr.......one of my other brothers...whos son has a baby...little over a yr old......that i have never seen......
didnt come because they said...... 4:30 was too late to have dinner......said my dad goes to bed early.....(he does ...sometimes..but NOT at 4:30)!!
actual truth was........they didnt come...because they didnt want their grandkid around the other little ones.....NOTE....none of them is sick....or for that matter
none of them even has the slightest sniffle........worse part is.......this brother is the one that is so religious.....so i guess....his next prayer...should be that THEY....(his family) shouldnt be acting like they are better than the rest of us ........
