something is going on with my doggie copper.
copper is 9 years old. He couldn't walk ... This happened last month..
and john told me he thought it was just from him laying down so much
and he was probably numb or his legs were still sleeping..
but tonight i came downstairs and he was on the floor with his legs
kinda like swimming, he couldn't stand up. MAN i can not take this stress..
i just broke down crying..john and haley went on a run...i called johns cellphone
and i could hear it ringing upstairs... I was besides myself..I was just crying
and crying... by the time john and haley got home..I had held copper for atleast
10 to 15 minutes...and by the time i put him down he was ok by then. Of course,
I'm not better..I tell you..I cried so much and so hard..I actually think my ovaries
hurt..is that nuts? i am not lying...once i told john and them what happened..and john
says, well maybe because of the rain, and it's damp..it's arthritis...so i settle down,
then the phone rings, and its my mom and of course, once i hear her voice...i break
down again...so needless to say...everyone has called me tonight that normally don't
call to make sure i'm alright.SIGH...it's been a tough night.. BUT he's acting ok and normal
now??? i guess i'll call the doctor tomorrow just to have him check him out..
so even though he's a doggie..please keep him in your thoughts and prayers..because he means
so so much to me...and I appreciate you saying a prayer for him...AND even though his doctor calls
him COOPER all the time..he's really COPPER! : ) thanks everyone...GOING to take a long
hot bath with extra bubbles tonight...LOL I think i need it!!
1|1|i went through this with my poodle for 12 years, he had been kicked in the head repeatadly before i rescued him, the vet said his brain was bruised or something. so about 4 times a year he had seizures. usually i was there when it happenned and i could wrap him in a comforter until it was over. sometimes they happened whne i wasnt there and he would have a knot or something on his head from hitting it. its a sad thing to go through. but my vet would not give me pheno barbitol for him because the seizures where not constant. it was sad but when they where over he acted like nothing happened although he was very tired for a day or so after. i miss him dearly its been 2 1/2 years since i had to put him to sleep due to cancer coming that he had removed :(|QponFreebieQueen|QponFreebieQueen@gmail.com|00:05:47|11/12/2010|
