Ok everyone...This years Christmas kids have gone really well.
We've had alot of kids sign up. I have 9 boxes ready to ship..
hopefully the monday before Thanksgiving, i'm going to try and ship out.
I'm estimating shipping around $140..so this auction will help out alot
for that. I know we will have more sign ups as well. But for now, I'm
going to try and finish up the boxes that I've done with the boards help
and get them shipped.
so far we have adopted 35 kids. The teens are the hardest..BUT I have a heads up
for anyone that might be interested to help a teen. Tomorrow Walmart doorbuster
will have a $50 itunes gift card for $35 .if anyone would like to adopt a teen
and give that...that would be so great!! SO if you can do it.. please do it!!
AND for those that signed up and I had to ask the 50 questions, about current member,
this and that..I'm sorry. BUT a lot of names I didn't recognize and I did some
research...and most of you were active/current members with active/current feedback. Yes, I know
we have a lot of "lurkers" that don't post and just do trades thru email and such..so
if I sent you several questions, please don't be offended...It's just we keep this
for active/current members...enough about that...I know, and I hope that if you didn't truly
need help you wouldn't ask. AND I don't tell others who are signed up etc...that's not what this
is about..I know several of you have felt embarrassed by asking for help.. BUT please don't..AND
I'm glad that you felt confident in me that I wouldn't "announce" who needs help. WE've all been
there...SO please don't feel bad...I know that Christmas isn't about the presents.. BUT we do know
that we all want our kids to have a good christmas.....AND they will learn the true meaning of christmas.
I know..I keep rambling don't I???
IF YOU HAVE anything to add to the auction..please do so....if you have stuff on the bargain boards
that's not selling..please do a good deed and add it to the auction....remember that "pay it forward" stuff
really works.
AND for parents that are rec'g gifts for your children... please be appreciative...we can't always send
a lot of stuff..but we are trying to help that each child at least has 3 or 4 items to open at christmas..
AND if you need more help..sign up at your local organizations. I know that my pkgs have been over the $25
limit..because it's so hard when some items are expensive...I bought one pair of jeans and a shirt and it was over $35
and I always want to "add" something else.. BUT anyways..just remember.. OUR ANGELS TRY...and that's the most part.
YES< I know I'm rambling...AND believe me..I could go on and on...I've been stressed with life lately..no sleep..
and well could just go on and on.. BUT anyways... I like doing this...AND I'm so glad that we have so many to help out..

ASAP...I don't want to think we have a kid taken care of...and we don't..that has happened in the past!!!
