I live in High Point, NC.
If all are alike .... They are like aldi's. Be prepared to take your own bags, boxes, etc.
They do carry some name brand items, as well as generic too. They also take coupons at my store and if you sign up for thier emails you may occassionally be mailed coupons from them too.
I have also noticed that the meats are packaged and stamped *food lion* which is one of our local stores. I have never had a problem with anything i purchased from there ... Its just way on the other side of town and our neighboorhood that it is in, isnt a very good one, so i dont visit it frequently.

I typically don't shop there. It is kind of out of the way where they are, but I can tell you that they have cheap produce. Their meat is ok, but my hubby isn't a fan of Food Lion's beef. They feature a lot of Smart Option and the other generic Food Lion store labels. It reminded me more like an Aldis, but with food lion generics.
they have their own store card too. I really wish these chains would make a universal card for all of the stores under their umbrella. My keychain is full enough, LOL.
