15|2|Praise the Lord|angNC|memawang@embarqmail.com|11:48:33|11/05/2010|Crashed my computer, using DH's laptop and I hate it, LOL. I am doing really well, today was day 39 or 40 of NO SMOKING!!! As I go down the mgs of nicotine in the patches, I am finding it a little more difficult, BUT, I am determined and hanging in there. 2 things, the computer and the phone, I have been staying away from as they are where I did my smoking. LOL, I guess I have saved over $300 so far from not buying my smokes at almost $8 a pack here but I cannot tell you where that money is! Good thing as I have a million co-pays right now from my lovely "vacation" in the hospital. Thanks so much for the cards and emails, I really appreciate it and will get back to the emails I owe. I will be more active here soon!

You're doing great at conquering the smokes so hang in there. You'll beat them! :)
I've so far been able to overcome the computer & coffee smoke times by no longer allowing myself to smoke in the house & going outside. It has definitely reduced how much I smoke cuz it's either too hot/humid in the summer time or too frigid in the winter time to stand out there for very long. LOL But the phone is still my worst trouble area so am still working on finding a solution for that one. Might have to get a shorter phone cord so it no longer reaches out the door, just so it's still long enough to reach the bathroom. LOL
Keep up the awesome determination! :)

Like Kojak, I used lollipops for a while.
Then, I would crochet instead of smoking. I made a million afghans during this time.
Find something to take the place of the cigarette or time when you smoked, and it gets so much easier.
Cheers to you, I am proud. I know how hard it is to quit. Took me three times.
Great news is your lungs can regenerate and shortly you will have good lungs again.
