Has anyone ever rec'd a PayPal payment from someone yet didn't get the email notice from PayPal that the payment was sent?
I rec'd PP from a gal & when I checked my PP acct., it shows the payment from her is there but I never rec'd the email notice from PP that a payment was sent.
What do you suppose is up w/that?
Sure would appreciate if someone could shed some light on this puzzler.

I got an email that my account was restricted....typical phishing email, right? EXCEPT that they had my FULL NAME at the beginning of the letter, which paypal claims is a way to verify that the email is legitimate. However, when I go to my account at paypal (NOT via the link provided), I have no record of a restriction.
I forwarded the email the spoof@paypal and 24 hours later I have not received a response. Usually when I forward a phishing email, I hear back within a couple of hours.
I'm wondering if their system was hacked.
