here's what info I have found out. I went on amazon and I can get a battery at other places for as cheap as $34 veres $189 from dell but it may or may not work on the dell (it won't charge) if it doesn't it cost $59 to get a program from dell to make it work and then there is no guaratee that it will. I tried looking at staples and wal mart they don't sell them thats the only stores we have here so still don't know what I am going to do, I never dream a battery could cost that much Linda 12|2|Try taking the battery out and putting it back in.
