Went over a lot with him. Spent a good hour talking and it is a no-go for the epidural. He said it could harm my nervous system. It isn't even safe for me to delivery vaginally w/o meds. So on Friday we have to come up with a plan with my OBGYN on what to do if I go into labor. I know they like you to be in active labor before you go to the hospital, but that is no good since they may have me wait too long and risk going to far.

It sounds like he is very good and will be someone you can trust. As far as having to come to terms with how he has to arrive it seems like it is all a process and it just takes some time for it to sink in and feel okay again. It sounds like you have a great attitude about it and that makes it so much easier. Just pull out that ultrasound pic when you need to remember. I can't believe he is almost here! It seems like you were just telling us about the peanut and now you are so close to getting him in your arms. (and while I am thinking about it please cherish that feeling of holding him and that sweetness of the feeling of his hair against your chin-- I know you will!!)
