I was in the market for one myself back in May and in doing my research there was only one drawback to the flip...it doesn't record in 1080p hd, only 720, and that was a problem for me. I ended up buying the Kodak version of the flip, link follows...

I'm not sure if that whole hd thing is even a big deal, so if you found a good deal on the flip, I'd say go for it!
