Any ideas ? Besides the parade and movie theaters was looking to maybe go away for the day after eating early. Looks like the malls are closed but wondered if maybe can take a day trip someplace Hate to waste a day off from work and just sit around and eat

to ask to visit anyone there who does not get visitors/have a place to go on Thanksgiving. This is a nursing home for elderly people without funds to live in a private nursing home. My sister usually goes with me after our family meal, last year we even took my sons along. They did give us a few first names last year, so the boys made up cards to hand the people. There were a LOT of elderly people at the home that day, wish we would have made up extra cards.
It is amazing how much the folks there appreciated someone to talk to on a holiday. My sister takes her Bible to read for those who want to listen, many had specific requests because they knew the passages but their eye sight is not good enough to read themselves and they like to hear her read.
