She was a big couponer too (Had 2 boxes of Temptations treats for cats free after coupon and sale) So it was nice to have someone behind me who wasnt sighing and huffing over the amount of time the coupons took! I've even handed people coupons for items in their cart at the grocery store and I've seen them take them, say "Thanks" and crumble them up and toss them in the cart. DUH! That's just like throwing cash out...they just don't understand! I've tried so hard to be nice, now I just don't give a hoot trying to be nice and share coupons...unless I see them with coupons or a binder where I know they will understand.
Those that get excited and thank you and actually use them are rare.

There was this older lady in the self check out lane next to me. The cashier was helping her as she couldn't quite figure it all out. When the total came up the lady said I don't have that much let me see what I can take off. I browsed her order came up with five or six coupons quickly and took over $10 or so. The lady then had enough money and really never realized what happened. The cashier tried telling her I did but I told her to just leave it alone. It was so awesome to be in the right place with the right stuff to bless someone even if she didn't get it lol

I was shopping at Giant and there was an elderly lady (Ha! I am 63 and a senior citizen and I call this lady old!)but she was lots older than me and she was walking with a cane and was trying to unload her cart. I helped her and saw that she had stacks of Healthy Choice dinners that were on sale. I counted at least 12 of them. So, I also saw she had maybe 3 coupons in her hand. I asked her if she could use more Healthy Choice coupons as this store usually will allow a $1/3 and a B5G1F coupon on the same items. She had 1 of the B5G1F and no others so I started handing them to her and then the cashier just told me how many more she could take on the order. I think I saved her an extra $5.00. She was so thankful, I thought she was going to cry. Sure made me feel good after having so many people in the past that gave me a hard time about using a coupon. I have relatives that never use coupons, because they think they're too good for them. I can't believe the prices some people pay for food without coupons. I went to B&BW to use the free coupon I had gotten in the mail, and I happened to have the coupon that came with it - 20% off your entire order.
I was looking around at stuff and a woman carrying a bunch of stuff came up next to me and layed it all down. She muttered something about deciding not to get the items because she had forgotten her coupons at home. I pulled the 20% off coupon out of my pocket and offered it to her and her eyes lit up.
I haven't been able to do that in a long time. Made my day too!

It was for $1.50 off produce wyb two Cheerios. It was an older couple and she had a bunch of produce in her cart and was checking out the buy one get one free cheerios at the same time I was! Felt good to help someone.
