I work for a county that is one of the wealthiest counties and we even have to take 2 furlough days this year but oh well life goes on and thank God I have a job

He got $0.50 in Jan, $0.25 in May and $0.25 in Sept, supposed to get $0.50 for the upcoming year

My husband didnt get a COLA raise last year and we really was thinking there wouldnt be one this year but much to our surprise a few weeks ago when he picked up his check he had the annual letter in his check saying they were giving a raise and a bonus so that was a pleasant surprise, it wasnt a fortune but we are happy to get whatever they will give him very greatful to have jobs that pay well!! thank god everyday for blessing us both with jobs that have great benefits and great wages you just always feel a little more appreciated when you get a small raise :)

I had read somewhere they were putting a big tax on sodas to keep down fatness and thought they were banning seniors from pop, I agree it stinks no raises everything has went up Linda
