On Sunday I pulled the computer charger cord out of the wall and somehow it smacked my son in his left eye. Spent the weekend at drs. and seeing specialists. Spent the last 2 days at WestChester Children's hospital where they decided he needs surgery to repair the damage and they are not sure he will ever regain sight in his left eye. I am so sick over this and can't believe I broke my baby. Please Please pray for him because I cannot begin to describe my heartache over this. I haven't stopped crying in days and every time I look at him my heart just breaks. I don't know how to fix this :(

I was injured in my L eye as a child.He probably will be put into glasses
to keep his other eye safe. My daughter was born blind in one of her eyes.

We have to be at the hospital by 8:45 am. They are removing Christopher's lens and checking the rest of the damage. He will have to go back for an implant and more surgeries as they say "down the road". He still wont be able to see even if there is a chance until that implant is done. Tomorrow they just want to relieve the pressure.
They are hoping to get it done tomorrow but they said no guarantees since they have to do some tests for swelling and what not. This has been the longest week of my life. I haven't stopped crying and he is just being so good about it. His humor is still intact although my heart is not :(
