We paid something like $120 for it new. But it's really full of bread right now and a bunch of other things.. but mostly frozen bakery bread from Publix -- they have the best breads. My MIL has been dropping off several loafs a week. She has a large stand up freezer that is huge and hers is full of stuff too -- half of it bread too! But she thinks Buy one get one free is a deal - so she spends a lot to fill her freezer!
We saw one of those huge long freezers in the store when we were buying this small one.... we laughed because it was so huge we said you could fit a large body in it laying flat.
I could only imagine how much food I would have in a bigger one! I have to cut some of my deals short because I run out of space. The only thing I'm dreading is the day we have a hurricane come through here and the power goes off! It used to happen often, but we haven't had a bad storm in years. I would really hate to loose my whole fridge/freezer and the extra freezer worth of food! I actually bought this freezer when my fridge died, because I didn't want to lose all my food -- the side by side freezer was full. I figure it saved me more than I paid for it the first time I used it!
Gotta love those deals.
Sorry... I'm a bit chatty today.... trying to avoid something I really need to work on this month... EBAY! UGH!

5|3|We had a storm and went 4 days with no power, we lost everything, but that was in a freak ice storm, so I understand your worry. My freezer is a large stand up one and now it is packed to the gills lol as we got tony's pizzas on sale for $1 at another store and dh loves them.
