Should I do this. I mean what if this person hacked into an account or something. Is this comonplace. I have never had a buy ask to send to a different address before. It's a different name too. Thanks so much Sandy but this has gotten very complicated for me. He said if I refund the money he would change the address in the paypal and I said that would be fine. The problem I have is that his name his paypal account is different than the name he's having me send it to. I could understand if he had a change of address or something but why wouldn't his name be the same. It makes no sense to me and I very hesitant about sending this out. Am I being paranoid? It's for over 40.00 and don't want to worry about a chargeback due to unauthorized use. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks so much!! Carol

I made sure I had ALL the info from the person and printed everything out including about shipping to a different location & another
person's name. I also did Delivery Confirmation and they got the items and left positive feedback for me also.
If they have good feedback on ebay and have been there for awhile - I don't see why you couldn't do it. Just make sure you have all
the info on them SAVED!!!

He changed his address on paypal on the second transaction. When he originally sent the paypal (on the first transaction that was voided out) the address was confirmed and it was the same on both ebay and paypal. When he changed it on his paypal to the other name and address it's not "confirmed" anymore. I just find it strange that if it's his name and only his address changed why not put his name in the address I'm sending it too, the last name isn't even the same. If he was giving this to another person why would he have to change his paypal address. The whole thing just has a bad feel. I think I'm going to call ebay or paypal on Monday and ask them what they think. Thanks sooooooo much for all your input so far. Carol

Do I have to ship to a confirmed address to be covered under Seller Protection?
You have to ship the item to the shipping address on the “Transaction Details” page and the transaction must be marked eligible or partially eligible for Seller Protection on the “Transaction Details” page.
Items sold on eBay will be marked eligible even if the shipping address is marked unconfirmed.
If it is marked eligible, protection for both unauthorized payments and items not received will apply. If it is marked partially eligible, protection for only items not received will apply.
What if the buyer asks me to ship to an address other than the address on the transaction details page?
If you ship to a different address, you will not be eligible for coverage. If the buyer wants you to ship to a different address, we recommend that you ask the buyer to resubmit the payment with the new shipping address.
