I doubt my local library has 1.8 million books to choose from. The Kindle holds 3,500 books. This bookreader even has a free wifi hookup and if you don't have wifi you can download the book to your computer (that took me 3 seconds) then hook up the USB cable that comes with the Kindle from your computer to your kindle and drag and drop the book into the document folder on the kindle, your done and can start reading the book, it was easy.
