do you who pay property taxes pay them yourselves or like mine the bank pays and we put money into escrow towards it it was fine last year but i think they are going to charge us because we will owe them also i went online and found the bill and it is 40.00 or so less then what they are saying now i want to pay the bill myself hope the bank doesn't give me the run aroud it is wells fargo i'm mad this being saturday have to wait to talk to someone 1|1|I also have Wells Fargo, and do taxes and insurance in escrow...when you get the escrow statement, it is projected for the next quarter, so when it shows the escrow will be short, there will be a new mortgage payment amount on the statement....you can pay the amount you will short in full, or just pay the new mortgage amount. Escrow is not set in stone....changes in insurance premiums and property taxes over the duration of the loan will make for changes in your total mortgage payment. Our mortgage company gave us 2 months to pay the amount in full or take the new mortgage amount. We paid in full the very day we got the notice. HTH
