hi all, got a fun story. i work in law enforcement and we all know it's not the highest paying job in the world so i have a small side business. it's a little online bookstore - it turned 5 years old on the 5th of this month. anyway, i buy books in bulk like left overs from book sales and in lots from thrift stores, etc. we just got another garage full yesterday and i was going through them this morning getting some together to take to a b&m store in town to sell for cash. i picked up a hardcover book and it rattled. well, you know books shouldn't rattle. i opened it up and someone had made a little safe out of it. they had glued the outer pages and hollowed out a rectangle from the inner part of the book. it had a baggie full of ... MONEY. my heart almost stopped. turned out it was foreign money (pesos, canadian money, some from germany and some from the netherlands). in exchange rate not worth lots of money but it sure was a fun and exciting find. sandy 1|1|that is really neat though...i'm sorry your not a millionaire though!|shellysmsmo|jpksms@sbcglobal.net|18:03:55|09/21/2010|

when I see boxes of books on the roadside I pick them up for people at work or the scrapyard (penny a pound) I have found many a bill pressed inside. The last was a one dollar trinadad bill.
