The saddest thing is that her daughter has a very disabled daughter whom my aunt has always helped take care of (full time, during the day) and my cousin just recently lost her husband (just a couple months ago and he was only about 50), so they have just had way too much to deal with. They are the sweetest people you could hope to know.
Please add my Aunt Anne and her family to any prayer lists (or good thoughts if that is more fitting to you). She's my dad's oldest sister and I am just rattled by this. I haven't seen her in about 14 years, but she was one of the people I hoped to mirror in my life. Back with my cousins daughter was born it was normal to put disabled children in institutions and this family lived as an example of another way to care for disabled people with dignity and kindness. I have always been so proud to be related to them.
