... Paypal changed their structure sometime last year, did they not? By "no fee" exactly what are you asking? Are you asking people to fabricate an excuse for sending you money that does not sound like a purchase? When you offer no fee are you volunteering to fabricate an excuse.

I'm not passing judgement here by any means but I want to make sure that I didn't miss anything because I still get charged a paypal fee - it doesn't matter what you have to offer. It doesn't matter if you have money in there or an echeck or whatever.

The only way to avoid a fee is to pick the personal tab and make sure that Paypal cannot construe what you type as a sale of any type. Believe me -- I have the threatening emails from Paypal to prove it. 1|1|Robin I did exactly that....|slimnlady|slimnlady@aol.com|15:46:13|09/21/2010|

Pressed personal but paypal no longer allows me to do that anymore. Even when I choose personal I am given the choice whether or not I want the fee or for the fee to be charged to the other person. I was only sending paypal maybe 6-7 times a week and not every week at the most but usually small amounts and I always rounded it off but they still banned me from any kind of personal use. Quite honestly I don't know how all the people who trade frequently are getting through the radar. However it is my understanding that if you only send/rcv under a specific amount of $ then they can't call you a "seller"? I dunno, maybe things have changed but I've only posted a few times this year and only made roughly $20.00 total so I'm not worried about it. SHRUG

3|2|Nope, Jackie -- not so. They nabbed me on a $1.44 trade ... said they knew it was a sale because they had been tracking "other websites" --- RS perhaps?|whitmarg|robin@whitmannet.com|17:54:26|09/21/2010|

.. 4|1|This is why I now charge for postage and partial paypal fees on my trades. Some people don't like it and complain which is fine. Trade elsewhere. Most people are fine with it.|whitmarg|robin@whitmannet.com|17:55:08|09/21/2010|

.. 5|1|Perhaps it's because since January I've had 23 transactions and most are to Zynga and to Restaurant .com |pussecat|pu55ecat@aol.com|18:05:38|09/21/2010|
