They want her to see a heart surgeon & discuss the pacemaker. Seems the monitor showed quite a bit of spiking & other irregularities. Not what we wanted to hear but if it works then great.

I have several friends who have a pacemaker so I'm not that concerned about it, just hate that my mom has to go through this & my dad, well that's a complete different story. He has no use for sickness or doctor's, so he'll be one of those that says well are you sure this is needed & so forth until he makes my mom miserable, because he's grouchy & so forth. I'll just have to beat him.

Joy my mom is 75 & in good health overall, so I'm not to concerned over the pacemaker, just hope that this is the problem & will solve the things that have happened in last couple months. The fuzzy head feelings, the blackouts & loss of energy. Doctor's say all this is being caused by her heart. It's affected her memory also, she's having a terrible time remembering what she want to say & so forth & when she does she gets so mad. It's driving her crazy & my dad doesn't help because he just knows it's all her medicines & if she'd just stop them all would be well. Did I say he has no tolerance for Dr. LOL

Dr. says at night her heart is spiking & then goes flatlined & then quivers & starts up again, repeating this several times a night. Not good, if not fixed, it could just not restart. So she is on her way to heart Dr. now, so we will know more probably tonight.
