Neither of us seem to excited about this.
Between the drinking and her being so different then his dad, the visit seems more like work then anything. His dad is soooo kick back and relaxed. She is as well, but not at the same time. I don't know how to explain.
I think being so drained for the last few weeks is just making it hard for me to get excited about anything. My baby shower is being held in our home tomorrow. I have been doing my best to clean but it is just not all going to get done. I know this and accept it. Jeromy is wonderful. He will do his best to get what he can done when he gets home and tomorrow morning.
J's mom didn't want to come empty handed to the shower. She wanted the gift list a week and a half ago and i sent them to her then. She called last night and J asked if she needed him to take her shopping early tomorrow (shower is at 11) she said no that she was going to order something from Target or babiesrus online and have it shipped over night...??? Neither have that option. I am sure this means she will need him to take her shopping tomorrow. I feel bad because he has been sooooo busy and has been very sleep deprived lately. She will insist on bringing something even though they bought the crib. It is nice and all, but I would rather him get rest. Maybe we can just put her in a cab?? lol
