I decided I wanted to make some peach jam so I went to the fruit farm that I always go to, owned by a friend of mine. Got a huge box of peaches that were freshly picked that she normally sells for $25 and always sells to me for $20. After we chattted a bit, I needed to leave and was getting out my money and she said-- How about, you take the peaches and we trade for your tip the next 2 times we come in to the restaurant! She and her BF come in and always sit at the bar with me, so that works out perfectly! So many nights, I just have peaches blended with milk instead of dinner, I buy the peaches anyway and from Kim, so it is a valuable trade for both of us. : )

Nothing like a just picked peach! I often buy them in the grocery store, they look good but they are blah! Either mushy or no taste!
