I am looking for some free medical advice if you feel like giving it. I fell off a horse on Monday at a pretty good speed. Landed on my right side, mostly on my hip but I also banged up my right rib cage, the top of my right pelvis and my head. I don't think anything is broken as I can walk but I have lots of pain in my lower back just above the coxic(spelling)bone so while I can walk, climbing stairs is really painful and I really can't put any pressure on my right leg alone while climbing, and I can't lift anything with weight. I can sit on the floor and stretch as long as I don't lean back onto my lower back. So my question is should I call my doctor or my chiropracter?

1|1|Hi Michelle, I'm Joy, the nurse that you probably see posting here :) My advice is to call your regular doctor, as the pain in the lower back would be muscular damage/strain, a sacral (coccyx) fracture, or even interal organ bruising/trauma (like your kidneys)....wow, you took quite a tumble, I hope youre ok and will be feeling better soon :) |saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|15:24:29|08/25/2010|
