My other stop was Sweetbay for meat. I bought 9 lbs of ground beef and 3 lbs of chicken breasts and a gallon of milk for $5.26. I fill our prescriptions and get a $10 free gift card each time (with competitors coupons). So I filled one prescription today that was $10 and they gave me a $10 gift card and I had two gift cards left in my wallet for $10 and $4.89.

I'm trying to drastically drop my grocery bill because we are broke right now.... and since I've gotten back into couponing the last two weeks... I spent $44 last week and under $40 this week.... right now my pantry is getting full and my freezers are stuffed! So I'm only buying the good deals each week... even had to leave some of the good deals behind this time

I don't know what I'd do without coupons!

but I spoke with the manager and he specifically told me that I can use two coupons on a B1G1F item. I had a problem once that they wouldn't take even one coupon with every two along with their raincheck, because the lady told me it was double couponing! LOL. So I contacted Publix, they sent me to the manager and he called me and we talked about what he would take and wouldn't. so I don't go much and use them. You always get such great deals and I'm just afraid to try it most of the time because it's hit or miss with them here and I'm not one who likes confrontations! 8|5|I am pretty lucky....there are only a few cashiers at my WM who act like I'm taking money from their pockets and get an attitude....so I just avoid them like the plague! etc. I have been picking up amazing Christmas gifts all summer though while they are renovating. OMG, they are clearancing anything and everything! WOO HOO!! I guess they just don't want the extra inventory. I have picked up a few of the matchbox or hot wheels, whatever sets that are usually around $16 for $5. I got my grandaughter, Vanessa, a winter set of Dora pajamas for $2 that she will be crazy for and beach towels! Woo HOO!! LOL, Joy, have I actually mentioned Vanessa much? I absolutely adore her, she lives right here in town, she is my stepson's daughter and she was 2 in May. I haven't spoken about her much because we didn't see her, but DIL has changed for the good and now I am accepted as Grandmother. She is just the sweetest little thing.
