I am wanting to put together a package for Christmas that will contain a few craft kits for my Anthony that Amy can pull out and they do together. I have a few Blue Bunny plastic ice cream tubs that I am going to decorate and want to put a craft in each. He will be nearly 4 then (can you believe that!). Amy isn't very crafty, so I was thinking maybe something easy, LOL, but fun for them. He goes to daycare and LOVES to make things. Anybody have any fun ideas of what I can do? I have a nice, big, plastic jar that I am filling with odds and ends of things that can be used to make things but I wanted to be a little specific with a few ideas. Since the big jerk is gone a lot of the time, they have together what they call their "party", they watch videos and I made them matching afghans last year, they have their special popcorn bowls and glasses, I just wanted to give her some other option for their Mom and Son "party".
Thanks!

I keep a bucket of google eyes, foam pieces, glue, pipe cleaners, glitter (although that choice is messy for sure), stickers, pens, etc. and the girls pull it out for craft times. Some things they make on a regular basis is pom pom guys with eyes and feet, bookmarks, and odds and ends. I know Michaels crafts used to have tip sheets for easy ornaments. Check out this link for their "teacher's knack" because it has lots of interesting ideas. http://www.theknackkids.com/ProjectList.aspx

Also Oriental Trading company sells pre made craft kits which you could easily look at and re-create. http://www.orientaltrading.com/craft-hobby-a1-388760-2-0.fltr

And Family Fun Magazine is another. http://familyfun.go.com/crafts/

Sounds like a fun project! How on earth did he turn 4? That was crazy fast! :0) V 2|1|My advice.......step away from the GLITTER! :O LOL! Cathie there a site called Family Fun I believe that has free craft ideas.....|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|10:39:06|08/22/2010|
