some may remember the pics i posted when we found the baby skunk wondering in road by our house....
we have had her all this time......i called vets,game wardens..ect.....couldnt get a permit to keep her.....was told by game warden that i should have
left her in the road......that was part of nature and even if it got ran over i should not have picked it up........grrrrrrrrrr needless to say......he p---ed me off
anyway........i took her and released her......then felt sorry for her.....went back 3 days looking for her......figured she was just gone......well on third day.....
i took her stuffed skunk.....and placed it under a bush......went back that after noon and there she was!!!! when i walked in carrying her.......you would have thought
a long lost kid had came home!! my hub had went around like he had lost his best friend for that 3 days.........
anyway .....we had kept her....all this time......she was litter trained and all.....never offered to spray us.......but recently she got defensive when u tried to
fed her........and she would try to bite.......so we figured best to release her now.....before winter and all............but i sure hated to do it......
just doesnt seem right......without her running around under foot or chasing us when we take her out........

is if i became a rescuer...and then i would have to take in all kinds of stuff.......and that would prove to be alot of work......
