Ya know will it ever end? I washed my 3week old cellphone accidentally (was in my jeans pocket from today) I tried airing it out and taking the battery out, even tried the blowdryer, no go, so now I have to spend almost $250 for my phone, to replace it.. I could just cry...

I left it turned off and then dried it in a bag of rice for over a week. It did come back, but I no longer have near the battery life. Sorry to hear about your bad luck! I feel for ya!

What I did was put my cell phone in a sandwich size ziplock bag. I did not seal it.
Then I put the bag with my cellphone into a gallon size ziploc bag that was filled about one third to one half with plain white rice.
I then sealed the gallon size bag and put it on top of my refrigerator...I read that if you put it on something warm it works better.
Two days later, I took the cellphone out of the sealed bag, popped in the battery and sim card and it worked.
Credit for this trick goes to my college age son. He says all the kids at school do this when there phone is washed, dropped into water, etc.

My husband works outside and he dropped his phone in a puddle of water and didnt know it until the end of the day so his phone layed in this puddle all day..he took his phone and left it in his truck the following day on his dash of his truck and his worked again...of course it was hot inside of his truck so that helped dry it out..hope all works for you

She's with a different company and has a office in ours... they had to call the plumber out to make sure it didn't clog the line.
