I just need to vent a little about my teen daughter who didn't have enough sense to ask her new boyfriend what type of cell phone plan he is on. Because of this we now owe nearly $700 on the phone bill. They're letting us pay it over three weeks but that means money will be tight for the next month. And tomorrow is my birthday, Sept. 6 is my oldest son's and Sept. 27 is my youngest son's. Stressed and feeling like screaming!!!! In the process of looking for work so I have to have a phone for prospective employers to call!!!!!

I thought I had more texting than I did. I called they dropped my bill from $200 to $100 and upped my texting minutes for an additional fee and made it retroactive.

So frustrated and tired of dealing with them this morning so I haven't called back to set it up to restrict the phone. But she definitely won't be using it for a while! Will call back when I've had some time to relax a bit! Happy Birthday to me!!!!! UGH

But unfortunately because she is still in high school it will take forever for her to make enough money to pay it and in the mean time we have to be sure it's paid. We live paycheck to paycheck like most people so this really hit us hard.But, yes she is definitely going to be paying it herself....

5|2|Oh, I understand you'd have to pay it in the deadline....glad she'll have to pay you back, it's a good life lesson for her for the future. Do she and her boyfriend text, or talk on the phone? If they text, she should pay for unlimited texting....we have Verizon and it's $10 a month, the boys pay for this on their phones. you said you have unlimited text on your phone plan. you should not get charge because her boyfriend do not have unlimtied text. boyfriend would get bill not you. check with your phone company how much chartacters for unlimited text?
