I have not had a working computer for the past few weeks and just borrowed a laptop for today. Wanted to say a big hello to folks, I have certainly missed reading the posts here!

Also a big hug to those who have emailed me lately asking about us... I truly appreciate the concerns and will be "back" here as soon as my computer is fixed.

We have been having a busy summer.... I am working Mondays and Wednesdays in addition to my weekend hours at the museum, while my 18 year old niece watches the boys. It has been such a blessing for them to have the time with her as she will be going to college in a few weeks. Also a blessing for our budget, as the extra few dollars are helping us catch up on bills (am sure you can all relate, there is never actually extra money in anyone's budget these days). Otherwise, just trying to stay cool and find a few deals.

Thanks all! Hope each of you are well and happy/healthy/sane!!!!!

Hugs,

It is nice to read good news for a change :)

Bills, geez. Every time I re-do the budget and think there is a light at the end of the tunnel.... then the train hits me! We were almost done paying off Ted's medical bills (two more payments) and then of all things, one of my sons needed to go to the E.R. for stitches. It was terribly scary for me, him, etc. Thankfully he is healing well (5 stitches, on his temple/beside his eyebrow) and the doctor used the dissolving stitches so we don't need to get them out. Now, just a few more bills in the mail from the hospital and the doctor... but of course we were just glad he is okay and that his eye was not injured.
