In the upcoming months we will be doing some things to our home. I am looking for inexpensive, creative ways to give my home a country feel. We will be renovating both bathrooms and the kitchen so ideas for those rooms and the living room would be great. TIA

your fixtures is inexpensive and most people can do these themselves. if your vanity is in good shape for example and has silver colored handles change them to gold or brass color. Put an elephant on your kitchen sink this is the one big high hfaucet that looks like an elephants trunk you can fit almost any pan under it. If you have habitat for humanity in your area they might have one of there Restore outlets there and you can buy the fixtures very cheap. Depending on your heat system paint your radiators or registers and your hot and cold air returns.

venting equipment to do it right. I had mine done recently it cost me $149 tub looks brand new took them a little over an hour to do the job and then I let it set for a few days. If you change colors they could probably do the toilet to match then all you need is a new seat. If you put in a new toilet you could do the tub to match it. If you do put in a new toilet make sure you set it right.

Bedding and linens can be made into slipcovers, throw pillows, window treatments, etc. Old windows can be made into wall art. Redo old lamps with paint and faux finishes, recover shades with papers or fabrics. I can give you some AWESOME blogs to check out that would be right up your alley with the country/shabby chic plan!
