mail trades in greeting card envies? i use them all the time. believe in RECYCLING and SAVING MONEY. had a trader thats not too happy about it because statistics say they are more likely to be stolen, looking for cash. and, i think it may have come postage due, she has not yet said. i never use the ones stamped "extra postage required".......so, i didn't think there would be a problem. i apologize to anyone who may have gotten a trade from me and this happened, please get back to me and i will send you the addition postage needed. as i told this trader, i'm a trusting person and i don't expect my mail to be stolen........am i crazy in this day and age, or do i need to realize my faith in my fellow man is misplaced? would like your views on this one..........thanks! 1|1|i don't think there is anything wrong with using card envies i don't see what the problem is (m)|lydzkydz|wyldkydz@embarqmail.com|09:29:42|08/08/2010|

if it came postage due was cuz the coupons weighed more then what your stamp was
that is the only thing i see could be up

hope you can get it resolved

please include your user name on refundsweepers.
i appreciate all the trades made in the past.

THANKS!! 2|2|As long as my coupons come I don't see the problem in which envelope you use. They might be postage due because of non standard size. or even if the envelope is too thick, cuz the coupons shifted and they are all down on one end. Now they are thicker than I think it's 1/4 inch. when in doubt I alwyas go to the post office :)|eecwz|eecwz1@gmail.com |09:36:41|08/08/2010|

I've done that many of times! : ) 6|4|I have gotten trades in greeting card envies, and mailed some in greeting card envies. I do not have a problem with it either way. I have had them get returned to me by the post office, for being to heavy or too think. Then I have to ad a .17 cent stamp to them. That may have been what happened.|dlpavitt|dlpavitt@att.net|11:09:20|08/08/2010|

I buy all kinds of greeting cards at garage sales/thrift stores, etc. I buy Christmas cards in boxes too. People look really wierd at me if I am buying pool party invites, graduation thank you cards, etc. - in packages or boxes. If I am mailing somebody a LOT of coupons or forms, or whatever, I might even send the card too - making sure that the folded end of the card is at the bottom of the envelope in case the dang post office rips open the bottom - so that way nothing falls out. That just makes the envelope more sturdy if I am mailing a lot. I usually always put wide mailing tape around the envelope lengthwise and crosswise if it is quite thick. I would rather do that and spend a little more on postage and have it get there in one piece.

everyone agrees, as you can see if you read them all. the only question was concerning a possible postage problem, but, my mailman always brings back anything postage due if i make a mistake. i have a postage scale here and weigh all my heavier outgoing mail. i do this for the convience of myself AND the trader. that way, i can let them know how much the postage is for them to include, and it saves me the time of going to the post office. if i have any question i do take the trade to the post office, which is often. anyway, thanks for all your comments, i feel better about this. saving money is a big thing to me (as is recyling). john and i both grew up poor and, altho we are far from rich, we have both worked hard to have a nice little place in the country......and we are still working to keep it. and, yes, that means saving where you can, when you can. god bless you all, cheryl
