2|1|Vinegar/water solution.....about 20-25% vinegar...soak the area good with that, then blot up repeatedly with clean towels....or if you have a carpet shampooer, put the vinegar/water solution in the cleaning solution port, then rinse and suction really well.|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|10:29:03|07/27/2010|

i had this same post on another site a couple of years ago and someone told me about a product by mellaluca (sp?). i forget the name of it but it's an orange spray and it really works - later i had some rust stains in the carpet from a planter sitting there and it took those out also. sandy 5|1|at bed bath and beyond i got..|noway|bargainhuntress23@yahoo.com|14:03:25|07/27/2010|
some spray called 'urine gone' or something similar to that and it got rid of the urine stains left by an un-neutered tomcat I was fostering. Hope it helps...it's kind of pricey but at that point I was desperate. They also have a spray called zero odor and it helps also..i would buy both. 6|2|I have tried everything....|KellyJef|burke3536@yahoo.com|17:39:41|07/27/2010|
and have never found a product that works for pet stains.
I spent over $300 to two different professional carpet cleaners who specialized in "pet stain removal" and they couldn't get the stain/smell out :(
