10 0|0|how to get gum out of my dryer?|noway|bargainhuntress23@yahoo.com|21:11:41|07/26/2010|

Husband is trained to take out the crap from his pockets before he puts things in the clothes hamper. A Couple weeks ago he forgot to remove a piece of green gum....and now it elegantly adorns my dryer. Any ideas on how to go about removing these lovely marks? Thankfully it's not leaving marks on the clothes when I dry them but it's an eyesore and really makes me crazy. I'd love some opinions. Thanks! :) 1|1|Wipe the gummy areas of the dryer with wet dryer sheets or fabric softener. Scrub well to remove most of the gum. |HONEY11|HONEY1@AMERITECH.NET|21:28:55|07/26/2010|

2|1|Fabric softener, that's a great idea Linda! I used some WD40 on a paper towel, but then I have to make sure to clean it out of the dryer realllly well after the gum is off....I'll have to remember that for next time (yes, I'm sure there'll be a next time) |saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|22:06:44|07/26/2010|

I did it when my dryer was still warm from a previous load so maybe that helped unstick the gum, so you may want to run it for a few min. before you rub the stains off. 8|5|Thanks..... I will do this tomorrow... I am sure I can round up a load to wash right before :-)|RobinsCrazyWorld|robinmarie72@gmail.com|01:49:44|07/28/2010|
