I know I have been asking for alot lately, but lately everything seems to be going wrong... anyhow.. if you can keep me in your thoughts tomorrow and say a little prayer for me, I would sooooo appreciate it. Tomorrow is my disability hearing in front of the judge, and I am scared beyond belief. I know my husband will be there with me, but he cant go in the room where the hearing is. The disability judge himself will likely ask you questions. Take a breath before you answer each question & be sure to look at him, not your atty., when answering. Just be clear & concise when answering as best you can.
The judge knows you're likely going to be nervous & afraid but he understands, so hard as it may be, try to relax a little bit. ;)
Please identify yourself in 1st email w/name/username. Due to recent problem trades, if I haven't traded w/you before, I will probably require you send your end 1st or I'll need LEGIT trade references/feedback. I will be happy to provide the same. Well went to court, got a flat tire on the way, had to have my mom come and get me and take me to make it on time, whew, its never ending.
So the judge and Technical Coordinator heard my case and it was pretty easy, even though I was rattled beyond belief and scared to my wits end, in about 2 weeks I will receive a letter with the results of the hearing. You and me both get double helpings of bad luck.
A few years ago I volunteered at a place that helped low income people appeal disability hearings. I wish I lived near you because I would totally roll up my sleeves and get busy helping you. Mainly they are so stinking picky about every little detail being included in the paperwork and in my experience they denied pretty much everyone the first time and the 2nd time your chances of approval go way up. You mentioned a lawyer I think (my memory is not great!), so that is good because an extra set of eyes looking over everything is critical.
I know how down you must be feeling. I wish there was something I could say that would make you feel better. We're all here.

I've heard that denials aren't uncommon the 1st couple of times & they do that so the people who are serious & in serious need continue to fight for it. Maybe so they can weed out the ones to try for it on a whim or something, I don't know. Of course, that's small consolation & doesn't much help the ones who do really need it.
