I have had 9 chemo treatments so far. After 6 they did a scan and I was sure it was all clear, but unfortunately, the scan showed the cancer still there, so we did 3 more treatments with a third drug added. Now I have finished those, went this week for the test, and on Monday should get my results. Please pray for it to be gone and I can be done!
The Dr. already set me up for another chemo treatment that day if the scan doesn't come up clear. To me it feels like he doesn't think it's gone yet, so I'm very nervous.

Thanks for all the prayers. unfortunately, I didn’t get good news today. They are starting me on a more aggressive regimen next week. I will go for one week with 3 chemo drugs, the second week will be 1 or 2 drugs, then the third week off, repeating for 4 cycles. After that they will look again. It is all new drugs and more frequent, so I am worried about how these will affect me. The others weren’t too bad and it was only once a month. Now this will be killing 3 out of 4 Mondays every month, because I go there, get the blood work, see the doctor, wait for them to mix up the drugs, then get an iv started and a bunch of prep drugs, and finally three or four hours after I arrive, I start my 6 hours of chemo. With my old schedule I would leave my house at 7:30 am and get home about 6:30, but with it only once a month, not bad. Now I will be doing this 3 out of 4 Mondays. I wish I could change the date, but Monday is the only day my doctor is there.
I have to go for some tests tomorrow and Friday to make sure my heart and lungs are ok so they can do the one drug, if they don’t look strong enough, they will do different drugs instead. I have a doctor appointment/test every single day this week. It really messes up my schedule and getting everything done. I will do my best to keep adding coupons and stuff and getting out trades, but with everything going on it will be hard to get out and find forms and coupons, let alone typing them in. I figure there will be lots of little updates where I only get to one or two sections a day instead of updating everything in one day, just because I have no time and energy, so still check frequently to see what I've added.
