The woman at the Courtesy Counter in my Shop-Rite let me know about it! How did I miss it, LOL!
I presented my $2 on any grocery coupon and at first they told me it was expired, noo, starts 4/1 ends 6/30. Then, it says prohibited in CT,GA,ID,IL,KS,LA,MA,MI.MN,NE,NY,OH,OK,RI,TX,UT,VA, and WA.No purchase required in AL,DE,HI,IN,ME,MO,MS,MT,NC,NH,NJ,OR,SD and WV. She tells me I can't use it because they don't sell the wine, right, exactly, no wine I tell her, and I mean very nicely, that it says no purchase required and she says not correct. That No is actually an abbreviation for a State and it really reads purchase required. I NICELY tell her that there is no abbreviation for any states with NO. She says to me, "I am telling you" and I say and "I am telling YOU". She says okay but just 1 per purchase and of course, I am using 1 per purchase, we can use 4 of the same coupons. Fine, I will ring them separately. She agrees and does them all at once and tells me she will have to retain them. I said yes, I have redeemed them and they are yours. She then says I cannot use my bonus card. Okay, but what kind of punishment is that? LOL My big order used the bonus card, the small sep did not need it or i would have argued that. She actually was in my face asking me where I got these coupons! She was not a manager and even then, should not be asking me where I got my coupons. I did say to her that these were a little bit difficult to understand, you had to look at them good. She had made up her mind though.

I constantly get asked where I got my c/o's - now I ALWAYS tell them that my sister works in a big grocery store in a "big city" and that she sends them to me - that usually shuts them up.
