I have these "friends"........ They came over for another bbq,,, not that they ever have any, which under their circumstances was ok... but I don't want to hear about how broke they are, how her husband hasn't worked for almost two years and how they are about to lose everything,,, they're like a broken record player...
I've offered to teach them how to coupon and hold their hand through the stores, but no,,, she keeps telling me they don't have time... What, she just said her dh hasn't worked in years,,, bet he could learn?!?!?!?!
Oh wait thats right, they are too busy planning their trip to Australia and going to the movies this weekend!!!! I'm done!
***Ps... I'm not a cruel person, I feel for their situation, but they are doing NOTHING to help themselves other than whine! I just don't get it and I'm tired of feeling used by them... there is obviously more to this than just this last vent...lol but to tell it all would be a book...

they are definately annoying and frustrating as well. You want to just 'shake' them and being around them just brings everyone else down as well. I try to stay away from those types of negative people. If you are not going to try to help yourself, then don't whine to me. My Give a Da** is busted for those types.
On the "up" side, I am waving to you Melissa! Did you get my last email back to you? The email is sooooo frustrating for us I know. Wish it would straighten up. Ugghh! They are living off their credit cards and their house is in foreclosure. The Gal works with me and I know how much she makes... They WAY overextended themselves and can no longer pay for their mortgage... All her $$ goes to food (800+ for 3 people per month NOT including hba) and daycare (why the 1 kid is in daycare when dad doesn't work is beyond me)... Australia is where her DH family is, so they can do it on the "cheap".... uggggg

people let their credit go bad and then just live in the house for "free" until they get forced out. I can't believe some of the things people are willing to admit that they do on national TV. One couple said they are just taking advantage of the system and saving the money instead of paying the mortgage so they can eventually get something better.
Anyhow - sounds like these people (your friends) aren't willing to help themselves. I just got let go from my job so I have to go back to serious couponing in a week. It's hard but it's what we all have to do.
